Highlights Include:

Festival of Trees: Stroll through our beautifully decorated trees, created by local businesses, organizations, and community groups. Voting slips will be available throughout the evening — cast your vote for your favorite! Winners of the People’s Choice Award and the Village President’s Award will be announced at the end of the market.

Holiday Vendors: Explore a variety of booths with over 10+ local vendors offering handmade gifts, crafts, and seasonal delights — perfect for your holiday shopping.

Children’s Coloring Contest: Little artists will shine in our holiday-themed coloring contest, separated into three age brackets. Entries from last year’s winners will be available for purchase, supporting Leaf River Summer Daze 2026. The 2025 contest winners will be announced at the end of the market.

Chili Dinner: Warm up with a delicious chili provided by the Leaf River United Methodist Church.

Lighted Parade & Santa: Watch the Leaf River Fire Department Lighted Parade conclude at the Bertolet Building, then meet Santa inside for a special holiday greeting and photos with the children.

To ensure fairness and safety for all participants, only Richard Simpson and members of the Charles D. Bertolet Foundation Board can confirm registrations for vendors or Festival of Trees participants. If you are approached by anyone claiming they can register you for the market or trees, please contact us directly to verify.
