✨ About the Author
David R. Bublitz is the son of a veteran and a graduate of the Oklahoma City University Red Earth MFA program. A 2015 Pangaea Prize finalist, his first full collection of poems, Combat Pay, was published by Main Street Rag Publishing Company in March 2020. His debut children’s book, The Depend-Ant, was recently released with Queensbriar Press in June 2025.
David’s poetry has been featured in CONSEQUENCE Magazine, O-Dark-Thirty, f(r)iction, Revise the Psalm: Work Celebrating the Writing of Gwendolyn Brooks, and Proud to Be: Writing by American Warriors.
✨ What to Expect
Come meet David in person, hear him read selections from his work, and pick up a signed copy of The Depend-Ant or Combat Pay. There will be time for conversation, photos, and connecting with one of our region’s talented voices.
This is a wonderful opportunity to support a local author, discover new writing, and celebrate the joy of storytelling together.
