🌱 Tending Our Grounds at UUCG 🌱
Join the Green Team and fellow congregants as we come together for a day of care, connection, and community. Our property is more than just land—it is a living space that reflects who we are and how we share our love with the world.
By tending our grounds, we live into our UUCG values of Justice, Equity, Transformation, Pluralism, Interdependence, Generosity, and Love. Every flower planted, leaf raked, and path cleared is an act of stewardship—helping us create a welcoming and beautiful environment for all who come to UUCG and all the beings who live on our property. It is a refuge for many creatures, two-and four-legged, as well as the plants that serve them.
This year, our annual vision of ministry reminds us: “Our love is inclusive and defiant.” Together, through simple acts of care for our grounds, we embody that vision—building an inclusive space that nourishes both spirit and community, and standing defiantly for beauty, sustainability, and belonging.
🌳 Come prepared to work, laugh, and share in the joy of nurturing the earth beneath our feet. No special skills required—just willing hands and open hearts.
Let’s tend our grounds together, growing beauty and love that reflects the spirit of UUCG.
