Kayak rental fee: $105 + HST (or bring your own sea-worthy sea kayak & gear)

Paddle Canada Sea Kayak Level 1 is a two-day course that focuses on strokes, re-entry (rescue) techniques, and the skills required to safely plan and execute a day trip with friends of similar skill level, including navigation, weather interpretation, and proper clothing and gear.
No previous training is required, but participants should already be comfortable in a kayak (send us a message if you are wondering if this course is for you! ) **Spaces are limited to 6.

Options:
(1) Rent a kayak and gear ($130+HST) OR bring your own.
If bringing your own sea kayak, you will also need:
- Spray skirt
- Transport Canada approved PFD, with whistle attached
- Paddle
- Pump or bailer
- 15m of buoyant line
- optional: compass and paddle float

Thank you!
Deposits will be refunded if the course is cancelled, but non-refundable if the course runs, unless there are unexpected medical conditions that require you to cancel.

Successful completion of course will provide participants with a Paddle Canada certification in Level One Sea Kayaking Skills.
