About the event

Science on Tap
Join us at Free State Brewing Company for Science on Tap with Dr. Samanta Orellana, Postdoctoral Researcher in the Biodiversity Institute and Natural History Museum at the University of Kansas.

In this talk, Generating Digital Collections to Explore Neotropical Beetles, Dr. Orellana will discuss how digital tools can advance the study of global biodiversity. By accelerating the digitization of natural history collections in North and Central America, Dr. Orellana facilitates the study of Neotropical fauna. These digital collections are publicly accessible, enabling new research and collaborations around the world.

This free presentation/Q&A is open to the public and will be held in the beer hall area at Free State Brewing Company. Please note that seating is limited, so we encourage you to arrive early!
