The Diminished Poets (Rhina Espaillat, Alfred Nicol, and John Tavano) will present a Melopoeia of Frost poems, recited in both English and Spanish, accompanied by Spanish guitar. 

The Essex Chamber Music Players will perform three pieces inspired by Frost's poems on seasons, interpretations on human longing, and the joys and vulnerabilities in life.

The centerpiece of the event is an excerpt from "Frost: This Verse Business" performed by Emmy Award winning actor, Gordon Clapp. The script is taken from audio recordings of Frost “barding around” the country as a “rock star” poet during the last 25 years of his life, as well as from letters and prose documents. The play takes place on an imagined “occasion” in the Fall of 1962.
