To help support and shield the graduates every May, community members show up on the opposite side of the street to encourage and congratulate students on their day of recognition.

FREE STATE HIGH SCHOOL:
WHEN: Tue, May 19th, 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM

WHERE: Allen Field House (due to the 2026 location change, we are unsure which side the hate group will choose. If you arrive first, pick a side)

Parking: Free Parking at Lots 71, 125, and 127, but please 
consider side streets, paid parking garage, carpooling, or the bus system if able-bodied to prioritize attendees.

LAWRENCE HIGH SCHOOL
WHEN: Wed, May 20th, 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM

WHERE: We usually gather on the south side of 19th Street near the sidewalks outside the school as westburo is usually opposite.

Parking: Please try to find parking on side streets to leave school parking for the graduates and their loved ones. Consider carpooling and public transit!

*Note: Sometimes the hate group runs late, and we love that for them. Many students will appreciate the community support regardless of when they arrive.

Do not ever shout at or approach westboro picketers. We are there to solely to support students and we have a responsibility to keep our entire group safe.

Make sure to keep the sidewalks open for pedestrians.
