Bring a covered dish and your dancing shoes for an afternoon of good food and zesty dancing!
1:00 potluck
2:00 dancing
The afternoon will include:
—dances with quick shifts in direction
—moves not done regularly at our dances, like contra corners and balance & circulate (we’ll teach these)
—choreography where you leave your group of four for awhile and come back
—short walkthrus in general, and a few dances with no walkthru at all 🫨
Come with your experienced-contra- dancing chops and get ready to focus, challenge yourself, laugh, and have a great time!
Helpful hint: Advanced dances are not for everyone. If you struggle a bit at the regular dances, go ahead and attend a few more of those to get more comfortable, and then please join us at a future advanced dance!
