# Event Details - **Event Name**: 15th Annual Glenn Waffle Memorial Golf Tournament and Raffle - **Event Start and End Date**: Fri, 21 Aug, 2026 at 08:00 am – Sun, 23 Aug, 2026 at 06:00 am - **Event Description**: Please join us for the 15th Annual Glenn Waffle Memorial Golf Tournament and Raffle. The bag raffle and 50/50 will be out all week, starting Sunday, August 16, 2026. We will again feature a trip to Cooperstown with many gift certificates. The drawing Sunday evening (the drawing will be a closed event becuase it takes hours to get through the over 300 items). Winners will be notified via phone call or text within a few days of the drawing (it takes a long time to call people too). We always have many winners!! The Golf Tournament will begin Friday, August 21-Sunday, August 23, 2026. There will be hole-in-one challenges, pins, skins, putting contest, and more! The Glenn Waffle Memorial Golf Tournament is celebrating our fifteenth anniversary this year, and its success is due entirely to the generosity of people like you. The GW Memorial Fund pays that generosity forward to local charities, families in need, scholarships, and non-for-profits throughout the coming year. Proceeds: The golf tournament includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and beverages for members, friends, family, and our supporters. We anticipate a full field of 394 golfers and over 300 other guests. Through sponsorships, raffles, events, and an auction, we raise money to give back to the community. All proceeds from the event go directly back to the community. Last year we supported approximately 50 different local organizations, youth programs, scholarships, and families. In addition, we maintain the free public-access Glenn Waffle Memorial Trail system. We awarded five scholarships in two school districts last year as well. Glenn, an active member of the community, was always happiest outdoors. He loved all forms of outdoor recreation. Our goal is to honor his memory by supporting programs and people who have similar passions. There are several ways that the community can participate: --Be a Title Sponsor gets recognition on result Internet posts and a 3x6 banner on the clubhouse, indoor signs, a title sponsor tee sign, shirt advertising, as well as a year-long corporate sponsor permanent tee sign on the course, and indoor advertising during the winter indoor season: $1,000. --(SOLD) Pin Flags (9 holes/only 2 sponsors available): you provide flags for pins on 9 holes: $500. Something creative This option allows for a fun and unusual challenge for golfers: $500. --T-shirt Sponsor allows for your logo to be listed below the GW Memorial logo on a t-shirt: $500. --Display a Car/Truck Advertising allows you to display a vehicle at a hole near the clubhouse: $500. --Tee Signs (color signs on a tee box) includes a $25 indoor advertising, displayed all week: $100. --Indoor Advertisement is a color print ad, laminated, and hung in the clubhouse for a week: $25.00. --Goodie Bag Golfer Gifts you could donate enough gifts for golfers (just shy of 400 golfers) --Raffle Items (golf or non-golf related). --Captain and Crew Teams: will pay back cash prizes to approximately 50% of the field in addition to pin shots, skins.
