In Maryland, for example, there are almost a dozen such efforts, and the messages of Resistance can be very effective,” says Paul Baicich, a local union activist and environmentalist.

Paul is one of the key organizers of the weekly demonstrations on Gorman Road Overpass. He’ll be joining us at Laurel Resist this week to share how his team set-up and runs their popular visibility event and will help us think about our own!

Laurel Resist will meet in Wyatt Hall at St. Philip's Episcopal Church, 522 Main St., Laurel, MD. Wyatt Hall is at the far east end of the church, closest to the free, city-owned parking lot. There's an accessible parking lot in the back of the church, accessible via Prince George St.
