The Lovely Mountaineers performing at Doughton Park / Bluffs (BRP-Milepost 241, Laurel Springs, NC

Milepost Music is a rotating free Sunday afternoon concerts series presented at popular locations along the beautiful and scenic Blue Ridge Parkway.

Concerts are held at Doughton Park / Bluffs Restaurant at the Ridge Parkway (Milepost 241 - Laurel Springs, NC) on the 2nd & 4th Sundays in June, July, August, & September.

August 24: Lovely Mountaineers
September 14: Jackson Cunningham & Friends
September 28: His & Hers

The Doughton Park area of the Blue Ridge Parkway can be accessed from Rt. 21 near Sparta, NC.

Milepost Music concerts are supported by The Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation, coordinated and managed by The Blue Ridge Music Center and presented in partnership with The Blue Ridge Parkway / National Park Service.

The Bluffs Restaurant will be open and serving food.

Gina and Jason Dilg, aka the Lovely Mountaineers, are based in the rolling hills of Southwest Virginia, and play the foot-stomping dance tunes and old country ballads of the American string band repertoire. Both multi-instrumentalists, they love performing for country dances as much as putting on concerts.
