Paul's talk, 'Greetings from Okehampton', will look at the history of Okehampton through picture postcards. 
Paul will examine the history of British picture postcards, started in the 1890’s, and the ‘tricks of the trade’ used over the period of 120 years, as well as many other aspects of postcards.
If you own any Okehampton Postcards, please feel free to bring them along to the talk. 
19:00 for a 19:15 start, tickets £5 for library members and £7.50 for non-library members (don't forget it's free to join the library!) Booking essential via Ticketsource.
