Innate Body Transformation - Introduction Workshop
Innate Transformation - Introduction Workshop
Facilitated by David James
I have had an interest in massage since 1974 and worked as a professional remedial therapist (Dip. Remedial Massage) in Launceston from 1990 to 2017. I was an accredited member of ATMS from 1995 to 2018. With over 20,000 hours of clinic experience I’m now retired from clinic. I have presented various professional development and personal self care workshops since 2006.
My main focus during the final 15 years of clinic practice had been observing and addressing the underlying causes of postural and musculoskeletal dysfunction.
I developed a way of helping my clients to address their issues for themselves by directing their attention and triggering naturally occurring therapeutic responses with better outcomes than ever observed previously. This process is educative with no physical input from me apart from some palpation to help you better understand your own body and how you can deal with imbalance.
The Self Care Workshops are registered under the business name of Innate Transformation. The Innate is the wonderful natural, self regulating intelligence of the body that wants only to be well.
This workshop provides instruction in; The Innate Connection, The Gate Pattern Rebalance, Innate Bodywork (a self care method for addressing dysfunction and postural imbalance), also how to address incorrect diaphragm function, the benefit of breath awareness and the Transformation of Emotion.
As the training is limited to a maximum of 8 participants, personal issues can be addressed during and at the end of the workshop.
This interactive personal development workshop will run over 5 hours on Thursday 2nd April. Refreshments, morning tea, and a healthy lunch will be provided on the day. Please drink enough water the day before to ensure correct hydration.
Total cost: $80 - Comprehensive handouts are provided however you may find a note pad and pen useful.
*Note that there is strict limit of 8 participants, so if you can’t make it on the day please let us know.
