10 Year Celebration of the Launceston Transfer Station

Join us in celebrating the 10 Year Anniversary of the Launceston Transfer Station from 10am - 1pm Saturday December 13 at the Launceston Waste Centre, just outside Uptipidy.

There will be a free BBQ and some machinery from the Waste Centre to look at. While you're there, take a stroll through Uptipidy and see what treasure you may find.

City of Launceston was the second transfer station in Tasmania to upgrade to such a groundbreaking and modern facility and is one of the best facilities in Australia according to the National Waste Transfer and Landfill Audit.
