ESSCA is re-opening it’s red doors to a selective group of passionate and enthusiastic individuals who are hardworking, dedicated and want to further develop their skills to become a circus professional.
This comprehensive course is carefully designed to develop, challenge and prepare students for a circus industry and get them set up for further education in the circus arts field within 36 weeks of intensive training, students will undergo a Strict fitness regime, specialization process, devising and creating techniques, business of being a performer, assembly works, circus duties, live performances and plus additional work experience to help build your CV.
In order to guide the candidate, here is a schedule of the stages of the 2025 auditions
STEP 1 – PHYSICAL
The Applicant will have to perform some flexibility, strength and acrobatics exercises.
STEP 2 – THEATRE
The Opportunity to demonstrate their quality of movement, expression, creativity, interpretation and improvisation
STEP 3 – Performance (3 minutes solo)
If you don’t have a circus background, you can apply with a dance solo, theatre, Gymnastics or other artistic field
STEP 4 – INTERVIEW
We would like you to have the opportunity to talk about yourself and explain why you would like to study at ESSCA
