Participants can expect a guided journey into their personal and ancestral narratives; exploring identity, memory, grief, love, liberation, and self-definition. Through intentional prompts, vocal activation, breathwork, and performance techniques, we explore how lived experience becomes language, and how language becomes power. This workshop centers womxn voices by creating a sacred, affirming container where stories are honored, not rushed; where participants are encouraged to speak from the body, not just the page. We dismantle perfectionism and performance anxiety, making room for authenticity, softness, rage, humor, and joy.About the Phenomenal Womxn Festival: The Phenomenal Womxn Poetry Festival is a bold, empowering 3-day celebration of womxn and femme voices taking up space in Las Vegas. Featuring workshops, powerful panels, curated open mics, and the first-ever all-womxn regional poetry slam to hit the city. Poets across genres — page, stage, experimental, and everything in between — will gather in the heart of the Arts District, activating beloved local spaces like Third Street, Taverna Costera, Suite 150, Analog Dope, and That Chapel.
