- **Event Description**: Join us as the Branigan Cultural Center and NM Music Commissioner Derrick Lee present the 5th annual “Juneteenth Jazz Arts Festival.” We will have three events this year in celebration of Juneteenth. The third of the three will be a FREE event in the Courtyard at the Branigan Cultural Center, 501 N. Main St., from 10am to 1pm MDT on Saturday, June 21.

Join the City of Las Cruces Quality of Life Department to celebrate Juneteenth and enjoy some great local jazz. There will be a special Buffalo Soldier Juneteenth tribute presentation in the Branigan Courtyard at 10am. The Asiah Trio will be performing from 10:30am-12:30pm. Seating will be available but you are welcome to bring your own chairs.

The first event will be from 4pm to 9pm MDT at the Plaza de Las Cruces, 100 N. Main St., on Sunday, June 15. The second will be at Young Park, 850 S. Walnut, from 6pm to 9pm MDT on Thursday, June 19.
