There is a $25.00 fee for this class. Checks or money orders can be made out to The Board of Regents
This fee includes a T-shirt for each child and classroom materials.
Join Horticulturist and Youth Horticulture Education Program instructor, Nicole Hansen as she helps school-aged children (ages 8 and up) to develop gardening skills through hands-on exploration!
Children can get involved in exploring their world through meaningful activities that encourage leadership development, personal pride and responsibility, and community involvement. Youth involved in the program develop critical thinking skills, and the ability to identify community concerns and take action to address them through individual group projects.
Consistent attendance of participants is encouraged to earn rewards and certification!

The Junior Master Gardener Program is an international youth gardening program of the University Cooperative Extension network.
Class times are 9:00 am - 1:00 pm on the dates listed below.

A fee is charged for this Extension program to cover costs. A limited number of scholarships are available to individuals unable to pay.
