Timofey Kulyabin’s “Long Day’s Journey Into Night” in HD

Timofey Kulyabin and writer Roman Dozhanskiy striking new staging of Eugene O’Neill’s classic play places celebrated author Edmund Tyrone in a solitary luxury hotel room where he must confront the ghosts of his past and the burden of his fame in a night that stretches into endless regret.

About the Director: Timofey Kulyabin, an internationally renowned theatre and opera director, was, until 2022, the artistic director of Novosibirsk’s Red Torch Theatre where he earned acclaim for productions including Eugene Onegin, Hedda Gabler, and a groundbreaking sign-language staging of Three Sisters. In 2022, following his opposition to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Kulyabin relocated to Europe, where he continues to create new works.
