Ash Wednesday

We begin Lent by receiving ashes and hearing again those ancient, sobering words:
“Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

This is not fatalism, but realism — a truth that turns us toward repentance, prayer, and hope in the only One who defeats death.
