Join us on the third Sunday of every month for our open to the public Defensive Pistol match. November will be our final shoot of the year. We will restart in April 2026.

Early guidance (8:15 a.m.) - An experienced shooter will be on site from 8:15 a.m. to answer questions and review rules, policies, and fundamentals with new or inexperienced shooters.

Check‑in & safety briefing (9:00 a.m.)- Please arrive by 9:00 a.m. to help with set‑up, register, and attend the mandatory safety briefing.

Cost - $15 per shooter — pay at registration.

Who can shoot? - We welcome all skill levels! Just come with a solid grasp of basic firearm safety and handling. The match focuses on safety and fundamentals, so you can run each stage in the way that best suits you.

Stage style - Most courses are “move‑and‑shoot” scenarios—skills that are hard to practice safely anywhere but a structured match. It’s a fun way to build confidence and ability!

Gear requirements
* Handguns must be cased or carried in a strong‑side, outside‑the‑waistband holster.
* Pistol‑caliber carbines (PCCs) must stay cased until it’s time to shoot.

Location - Northern Colorado Rod & Gun Club — about 20–25 minutes northwest of Fort Collins and 40–45 minutes southwest of Cheyenne.
