"We Are Water" Writing Workshop at Tollgate

Jump start your creativity and get ready to enter the "We Are Water" Poetry Contest w/ Lansing Poet Laureate Ruelaine Stokes on Saturday, Aug. 30, from 10 AM to noon at the Tollgate Drain Wetlands, 1101 North Fairview Avenue, Lansing, MI 48912 . . . just off Grand River Ave. between Fairview Ave. & Wood Street. Ruelaine will have an assortment of writing strategies available, plus water for thirsty writers. Check in with her at the southeast entrance to Tollgate — park in the large parking lot by the Covenant Life Community Church, and go to the east end of the tree line, & you will see the entrance to Tollgate. Bring a notebook and pen/pencil. We'll have a great time. Should be sunny!
