Washington Sq, Lansing, MI 48933Size: 10 spotsEverything you need for a perfect soapmaking experience will be provided. You’ll leave class same day with a pound and a half of luxurious, handmade soap (six 4-ounce bars), curing instructions, and a bubbly memory to take home. Your soaps will need 2–3 days to set before cutting, then 4–6 weeks to fully cure into hard, gentle bars ready for use.Soon it’s time to decorate with colorful embeds, botanicals and eco-glitter. (Because, let’s be honest, what doesn’t go with glitter?) This is your chance to unleash your creativity and personalize your soap.There are no handouts or recipes given with this class. (If you are interested in learning how to make soap, stay tuned for our Soapmaking Masterclasses)What should you bring? Please wear closed-toed shoes. Also, a hair tie would be nice to have handy. We provide eye protection, gloves, aprons & all your sudsy ingredients. The waiver must be signed before class participation. Students must be 8 years or older to participate and accompanied by an adult.Long sleeves are not required as our gloves are elbow length but they are encouraged!Want to Book a Group Class? Celebrating a birthday, bachelorette, field trip, or just looking for a fun outing with friends? Book a class for 7 or more! Call to schedule your private bubbly adventure.Should I bring my kids? Kids 8 and up can make their own soaps, so sign them up and let's go! If your child is under 8, they are not allowed to participate and we ask you do not bring them to sit in the store with you. They will likely be very unhappy or even unable to sit for a hour.What if I can't make it? Please don't book a class unless you are sure you can make it. We have to prep ingredients ahead of time, some of the ingredients and our time will be wasted if you are not able to attend. There are NO CANCELLATIONS, if there is an emergency please call me and we can discuss the possibility to reschedule 989-942-2032What if I am late? If you are more than 10 minutes late we will start without you and we may be able to catch you up when you arrive BUT if you are more than 20 minutes late we will likely be passed the point where are not able to catch you up.
