Be a Participant
All Scouts and leaders are invited to participate in the Scout Day at the Capitol where we will showcase Scouting to Legislators and Government officials and the general public about how great Scouting is and the impact that Scouting has on youth and local communities. Scouts and family members will participate in hands-on activities, Capitol tours and interactive displays.
Be a Delegate
Scouts interested in serving as a Delegate to state elected officials and government officials may apply. Scouts will be selected by review of submissions by the Scout Day at the Capitol Committee for participation and notified in advance of their participation.
Additional Information
Scouts should be in Scout uniform
All Scouts must be accompanied by an adult
Scouts should live by the Scout Oath and Law
Pre-Registration is required.
Food will be available for purchase from food trucks during the lunch hour
Capitol Tours
Capitol Tours will be available to participants during the Scout Day at the Capitol. Participants must sign-up for tours during the registration process. Pre-registration is recommended for planning purposes.
*Tour time slots offered are self guided with Booklets and Capitol Staff Assistance, 30-60 minutes in length at 10:00 AM, 10:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:00 PM, and 1:30 PM.
Unit Demonstrations and Displays
Does your unit have a cool demonstration or display that you would like others to see? Demonstrations and displays that are hands-on and interactive are needed. Let us know by contacting Stephen Foster no later than May 15, 2026.
