Participants will learn how to: Identify common signs & symptoms of mental health & substance use challenges, approach someone in distress with confidence and compassion, listen non-judgementally & offer reassurance, encourage appropriate professional support & self-help strategies, and reduce stigma & strrengthen your community's mental wellness. This certification course includes: Self-Paced Pre-Work (Modules 1-9): Approx. 2 hours, Live Instructor-Led Training (Module 10): 9:00 AM-5:00 PM on Zoom, and Post-Training Exam: Short quiz to complete your certification.Please Note: Completion of all pre-work is required in order to recieve the Zoom link for the live training.
