Live Music Thursdays at Nelson: School of Rock East Lansing

Summer is here and Live Music Thursdays at Nelson are back! Grab a chair, bring some friends, and come enjoy this free, al fresco event.

School of Rock East Lansing is where future rock stars get their start. Students combine one-on-one instruction with group band rehearsals, learning to play guitar, bass, drums, keys, and vocals with guidance from experienced instructors. From classic rock to modern hits, these young musicians build confidence, sharpen their skills, and take the stage at local venues and community events.
