Confident Witch Circle: Wunjo

Wunjo is the rune of joy, mirth, pleasure, and deep contentment. And in this circle, we're treating joy with the respect the Goddess demanded when she placed it in the Charge. ("...let there be mirth and reverence within you.") Mirth is more than just a passing mood. It's magickal technology.

Because although it may discomfort some folks who believe "proper" behavior is required at all times, we need to feel the pleasures and delights of this existence in order to have the grounding we need to power our magick — even (or perhaps especially!) in the midst of crisis and struggle.

Joy isn't a luxury. It's not an accessory to spirituality.

It's one of the core fuels that keeps those fires burning.

In this Confident Witch Circle, we'll work with Wunjo as a stabilizing force to connect us with the joyous flow of LIFE that is required for real magick.

We'll explore:

• Why joy and pleasure are NOT frivolous, selfish, or spiritually shallow
• How chronic stress, trauma, and scarcity thinking quietly shut down manifestation
• The difference between real joy and performative (or toxic!) positivity
• How to deliberately build joy into your spiritual practice as a power source
• Why witches who never rest or celebrate burn out and lose their magic

This is not a "Don't worry, Be happy" circle.

This is about teaching your mind, body, and spirit how to remember what matters even in the midst of pain and despair, so that you can find the strength to keep going.

• A guided working to attune your body to joy as magickal fuel
• Using that fuel to power up a Carnelian Joy Jar you can keep anywhere you need a little extra smile

Each attendee will create a small joy-anchoring spell jar using carnelian, herbs and oils, a crafted and spoken charm, and a commitment to embracing pleasure and celebration.

This charm is designed to:

• Gently lift chronic emotional flatness
• Support pleasure without guilt
• Remind you that it's okay to laugh even if Grandpa would have disapproved

You'll leave with a working you can recharge and use anytime you forget how to feel human.
