Join us June 18 – June 21, 2026, for four days of culture, community, and celebration in the heart of Lansing. The 517 Juneteenth Weekend brings together thousands for a powerful, multi-day experience rooted in freedom, expression, and connection.

From health and wellness seminars grounded in the Eight Dimensions of Wellness to youth and family-centered experiences designed to inspire joy and learning, the weekend creates space for growth, reflection, and community building across generations.

At the center of it all is the 517 Juneteenth Festival in REO Town, a high-energy, street-wide celebration featuring live bands, DJs, performances, over 100 Black-owned businesses showcasing food, art, fashion, and culture, and more than 8,000 attendees. The district transforms into a vibrant hub of music, movement, and entrepreneurship, drawing thousands from across the region.

The weekend closes with a Father’s Day Jazz Night, an intimate and soulful experience that honors the legacy of Black music while bringing the community together in a laid-back, elevated setting.

Whether you’re coming for the conversations, the culture, the music, or the marketplace, 517 Juneteenth Weekend is a celebration of legacy, progress, and the future we’re building together.
