The Philadelphia Folksong Society presents "Last Tuesday Folk Night" at Well Crafted Beer Co. in Lansdale, PA! Featuring two great original acoustic artists- Kate Gaffney plus Matthew Gordon with Ryann Lynch! No cover charge.
Matthew & Ryann comprise a unique duo of dobro (squareneck resonator guitar) plus masterful fiddle, with sweet vocal harmonies. They play originals that draw from country, bluegrass, and blues, as well as their own funky slant on an occasional traditional or cover song. Having joined forces a couple years ago, they've wowed audiences at regional stages including everything from apple orchards to large festivals, with a few coffee houses, rock clubs, and bars in between!
Kate honed her skills in her hometown of Philadelphia, jumped from coast to coast, and toured everywhere in between. She laid musical roots in Northern California, building a loyal following in Sacramento and within the San Francisco Bay Area music community. Pennsylvania has since called her back home. Gaffney’s festival nods include Philadelphia Folk Festival, High Sierra Music Festival, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass & Hangtown Music Festival. She has opened for a variety of touring acts including Richie Havens, Todd Snider, Xavier Rudd, Chris Smither, Carolyn Wonderland, Jackie Greene, Karl Denson, Kaki King, Elephant Revival, and Dead Winter Carpenters.
Well Crafted offers delicious beers as well as a full bar and tasty menu with daily specials. In fact, on Tuesdays from 4 to 10 pm, their special is: For only $16, you get a burger, fries, and a pint of their local made brews!!!
