- **Event Description**: Please join the Meigs County Chapter of the Ohio Horseman's Council for the "Ride for Wishes" - an annual event and trail ride benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation! Horse riders and non-riders alike, come join us to make wishes come true.

In the past 10 years, the Meigs Chapter OHC has raised and donated over $130,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation – fully funding 30 local children’s wishes since 2015! We are hoping to make this year's event the biggest and best one yet.

Rider registration begins at 9am on Saturday, June 14th, 2025. The ride will leave the horse camp at 10am. Stick around after the ride for more festivities, including but not limited to:

*Hog roast
*Potluck style lunch (please bring a dish to share, if you can)
*Auctioned items
*Groom-the-Pony prize raffles
*Split-the-Pot
*Prizes for those raising the most in donations

The campground where the event will take place can accommodate horse and trailer rigs of all sizes and there is ample parking throughout. Come early on Friday if you wish and spend a weekend at our beautiful horse camp nestled in a peaceful, scenic area of Meigs County Ohio. Event location: AEP Southern Ohio Recreational Area - 30225 State Route 124, Langsville, OH 45741.
