A Route Step Outdoors Experience

Suns Out Guns Out 5.0 is more than a day at the range — it’s a community-driven outdoor experience built around connection, camaraderie, and showing up for one another.

Hosted by Route Step Outdoors, a peer-led program under Nine Line Veteran Services, this annual event brings veterans and active-duty service members together for a safe, structured, and welcoming range day rooted in shared experience and mutual respect.

This is our 5th year hosting this event, and it continues to grow because of the people who show up — not for performance, but for community.

$20 registration
All proceeds go directly back into Route Step Outdoors programming, supporting peer-led hikes and outdoor connection opportunities throughout the year.

Spots are prioritized for veterans and active-duty service members.
If space allows, remaining spots may open to spouses and supporters.

Please do not bring personal firearms or ammunition.
All firearms and ammo will be provided to ensure safety and consistency.

Optional camping available the night of July 17th & 18th for those who want to make a full weekend of it.
