About the event

Wassail 2026
Come and join us to wake the trees from their winter slumber, starting with lantern decorating at the community centre from 2pm before starting the lantern procession which will head to the woodland at 6.30pm, as ever the fabulous Black Pig Border Morris will be entertaining us with their unique song and dance to wake the trees with a hearty WASSAIL! As ever this is a free event with just a small charge for the lanterns.
