The amazing and incredible young man was diagnosed with leukaemia on Sunday the 17 May he has had neumerous many blood transfusion and started chemotherapy Friday 22 May but he just keeps smiling.

I am wanting to organise a sponsered dog walk at Shipley Country Park, to raise funds for his family during this stressful and daunting time.

I am thinking along the lines of...

- Meeting in the large field next to the visitor's centre.
- £5 per dog, plus any extra you wish to donate.
- Prize for the Best Behaved 6 Legs and Worst Behaved 6 Legs (owner and dog)
- Fancy dress for both owners and of - optional.
- 1.5-3 mile walk - suitable for all ages, fitness and abilities.
- Tea/coffee/cake/savouries avaliable at the visitors center as well as Barefeet Cafe (formally the Tearooms)

There may also be an option for another walk for those who want to do some extra miles once we have arrived back at the visitor's centre. 

There may also be an opportunity to go for a drink afterwards at The Red Lion, Heanor.
