# Event Details - **Event Name**: Dad's Community Northside Nature Trail 2026-12 - Dularcha Tunnel Track - **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 05 Jul, 2026 at 09:00 am - **Event Description**: Dularcha Tunnel Track Dads Community have done this trail on several occasions and it is very enjoyable. This trail is suitable all fitness levels to participate in. The trail starts at the carpark near the corner of Cunningham Avenue and Beech Rd and winds it way though some forest for about 300 m before then running parallel to the existing train line for the next 1.5 kms. A further 600m along this trail, the tunnel then comes into view. The 50 m tunnel is open to walk through and is home to some bats?, which may even be roosting in the tunnel as we approach it. Once we are on the other side of the tunnel, there are a couple of trail options available: 1️⃣ Go back through the tunnel to the starting location travelling "out and back" (4.7 kms / 1.5 hours ) OR 2️⃣ Take the pathway to the top of the tunnel itself and follow one of the other circuits / tracks that run westward from the tunnel track back to the start. ➡️ Roses Circuit and Ridge Track (6.1 kms / 2 hours ) ➡️ Roses Circuit and Gully Track (7.0 kms / 2.5 hours ) ➡️ Roses Circuit (9.2 kms / 3 hours ) ➡️ Roses Circuit and Myla Track (8.7 kms / 3 hours ) ❗️❗️Please indicate your preferred trail on the Poll in the Discussion section. ❗️❗️ On previous trails we have split into groups and completed various of these side trails back to the starting point.
