Morning First Day Hike - Sinks Canyon State Park

Join our staff for TWO #FirstDayHikes opportunities on January 1, 2026!

The morning hike is a leisurely, guided walk along the Sinks to Rise trail. Enjoy the beautiful canyon views, learn about canyon history, geology, and ecology, and look for the fish at the Rise. Participants can enter to win a 2026 Annual Day-Use Certificate and a statewide GRAND PRIZE!

📍 Visitor Center
🥾 1/2 Mile, Easy Terrain, Paved
❄️ Please dress weather appropriate.

Snow will be shoveled, but winter boots are still suggested for warmth. Enjoy hot drinks provided by Sinks Canyon Conservancy at the Visitor Center at the end of the hike.
