- **Event Description**: Spring is in swing, and you are invited to the Curry Friends Farm for the 6th annual native tree giveaway/swap and celebration! The day includes free trees, live music, and more! Schedule and details as follows:
2-5PM - Native Tree Giveaway and Swap. The Curry Farm will be providing 150 native trees, shrubs, plants (Trees/shrubs: WitchHazel, Black Walnut, Pawpaw, Silver Maple, Hazelnut, Chestnut Oak, Spicebush, Elderberry, and more. Plants: ramps, golden groundsel, native ginger, giant ragweed and more). Some are potted, some are bare-root. You can take up to 5 for free. If you have native trees/shrubs/plants to share for the swap, PLEASE bring them. We are able to contribute less to share this year, so please consider bringing your bounty. You can always take up to 5 more than you brought to share. For example, bring 0 trees to share, take 5 home. Bring 2 trees/shrubs to share, take 7 home. Bring 10 to share, take 15 home. etc. This is a chance to share diversity and abundance.

5PM - SHOWCONCERT! We will have live music from 3 amazing local/global artists.

IS IT A POTLUCK? Sure. Please feel free to bring food and bevys to share responsibly. We'll put tables out.
DO I HAVE TO COME ALL DAY? Nope. If you want to come for 5 minutes and take 5 trees, that's fine. If you just want to come to the showconcert in the evening, that's grand. Enjoy whatever parts of this you want to.
IS IT FREE? Yep, if you want. You can show up without a dime and leave with trees and enjoy the music. You are welcomed to bring a donation for the musicians, if you'd like. You don't have to pay to attend; donating for the music shows gratitude and helps musicians feel valued. The farm doesn't take any money.
CAN I BRING FRIENDS? Yep. The more the merrier. Anyone who welcomes everyone is welcome.
CAN DOGS COME? No. Please do NOT bring your dog. It might eat our chickens, and our dog might eat your dog. Our rescue dog loves all humans, and eats all dogs.
WILL I GET MUDDY? Yes, you and your feet and your car will likely get muddy. It's a farm in Landenberg.
WHERE DO I PARK? - Our neighbors, the Swans, are kind enough to let us park in their pasture. It will be a long, bumpy drive across grass. Please follow signs and be respectful. There will be a little walk from the parking to the shindig - if mobility is difficult for you, please contact a host, and we will get you closer parking.
SHOULD WE BYOBSS? - Yes, please bring your own bottles, snacks and seats. This is an all-day shindig, and we're not providing meals. We will put out some tables and coolers where you can share things you've brought. There will be a fire you can cook on as well.
CAN KIDS COME? Of course. It's only a proper farm shindig if there are packs of children going semi-feral. There are plenty of trees and logs to climb on. You are responsible for your childrens' safety.
SHOULD I BRING MY INSTRUMENT AND STAY ALL NIGHT? Yes, please! We generally have big ol' bonfires after the scheduled music wraps up. We tend to jam until the next day. Please feel free to join and enjoy!
ARE THE TREES HUGE? Nope. Most of the trees provided by the Curry Friends farm are small yearling or second-year individuals. Some are potted, some are bare-root stock.
