This special event honors outstanding individuals who have achieved excellence in their fields and made significant contributions to the Westside Union School District and the greater Antelope Valley community.

In addition to recognizing our 2026 Westside Heroes, we will celebrate the 80th Anniversary of Westside Union School District. Established in 1992, the West Antelope Valley Education Foundation (WAVE) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching student education through support in the Arts, Sciences, Technology, Engineering, and Athletics. Our mission is to provide Westside students with the best opportunity for a complete and well-rounded educational experience.
