Swig & Solve brings people together for a social puzzle experience with some of the discovery and satisfaction of an escape room — but without the locked room, countdown pressure or need to race.

Your group stays around its own table throughout, so you can pause for a drink, chat things through and enjoy the experience together.

It’s welcoming to first-timers, with varied, enjoyable puzzles, friendly help whenever needed and plenty to discover along the way.

A pirate-themed mystery packed with locks, compartments, unusual objects, bespoke puzzles and plenty of surprises.

Every successful solution opens up something new as your group works its way deeper into the chest and towards the treasure.

The puzzles are designed to be enjoyable and rewarding, with enough challenge to feel satisfying while still keeping the evening moving.

Finding the treasure isn’t the end.

Once your group has completed the main chest, you can choose from a themed selection of larger bonus challenges to continue the experience.

Some offer quicker wins, while others give you something with a little more bite. Choose the ones that intrigue your group and see how many more discoveries you can make together.

Swig & Solve is perfect for groups of friends, workmates, couples booking together and other small adult groups looking for something different from the usual evening out.

You don’t need previous puzzle or escape-room experience. The challenges are varied, different people often spot different things, and friendly help is always close by if your group needs it.

The experience can be as relaxed or as lightly competitive as you want it to be.

Why not start your adventure with dinner?

Groups attending Swig & Solve can enjoy a complimentary soft drink or glass of fizz with every main meal purchased before the event.

Simply book a table with The Borough before the game and mention you're attending Swig & Solve when making your reservation.

With the game beginning at 8pm, there's plenty of time to enjoy dinner before your pirate adventure begins.

🎟️ TICKETS

£15 per person

Book as a group of 4–6 players and your group will receive its own dedicated mystery chest.

Limited group spaces available.

Suitable for ages 16+, with under-18s attending alongside an adult. Please note that individual venue age policies may apply.

⏱️ AROUND TWO HOURS

The full experience includes the main mystery chest plus your choice of Tavern Menu bonus challenges.

There is no countdown clock and no pressure to rush. Take your time, enjoy a drink, share the discoveries and make an evening of it together.
