Join us as we walk and showcase two unique, nature learning spaces and share details of her life.As you prepare to participate, keep in mind:There will NOT be a volunteer opportunity as part of this specific walk and talk.Hand's/Jackson's Woods is not currently a public walking/exploration space.At the end of the walk, we will be sharing a list of local, publicly accessible spaces you can visit and provide ways that you can volunteer or engage.General Details:Meeting Location: Front entrance of Hazel Jackson Middle School, 431 South Ann Street, Lancaster, PA 17602All ages welcome, but participants should be able to attend to speaking points and be able to focus on presenter for portions of time.The walk covers approximately a half mile of varying terrain (grass and sidewalk/pavement), requiring participants to; 1) stand for portions of time, 2) climb a set of stairs.There will not be a restroom available for participants, so plan accordingly.This is not an accessible walking route, but there is a modification for walkers, wheelchairs, strollers or people with difficulty traversing inclines or standing for increased periods of time. (Instead of crossing the field, this would be an out-and-back-up-the-sidewalk/pavement to return to the group).Please, NO PETS on this walk.The walk will take place "light" rain or shine, so dress accordingly and wear footwear appropriate for varying terrain.
