- **Event Description**: This is the first of the three dances in the park this summer. Penelope Weinberger will call to Hey Ride, who for this excursion are Renee Mendenhall on accordion, Adlai Waksman on keyboard, and me on clarinet. 

Penelope will teach a new dancer lesson at 6:30 and then the dance will run from 7:00 - 10:00 with a break in the middle capped by a waltz, and also a waltz at the end. Penelope will teach each dance and call the figures throughout. No experience needed. No special dance skills are needed either; it's all walking steps. At the break we'll have announcements of further dances as well as snacks which you can bring to share.

Admission
Cost: sliding scale $12 to $20+ as you are able.
Children 13 or younger dance FREE!

Dance lessons! A New Dancers practice lesson is included in admission and takes place at 6:30 before each dance. If you can count to 4 and walk, you can do this dance!
