HEALING WITH VOICE - A TWO-DAY WORKSHOP WITH JAYSON STILWELL
20-21 SEPTEMBER 2025 at the Tara Centre, Lancaster
During this Two-Day Workshop we will explore the transformative power of the unique sonic fingerprint that is our voice through our individual direct source connection.
We will cover, preparing the body for sound, breath, intention, using accessible techniques such as humming and vowel sounds, as well as exploring the basics of overtone singing. We will play with ideas such as opening to the river of sound that flows through us, rather than thinking of using our voice as something pressured or performative.
We will also look at the lineage of humans sharing sound in community, with intention, in conjunction with place, and how that remains relevant to us all now, and in future.
Jayson Stilwell is an overtone singer with 3 decades of experience of performing, recording, public speaking and facilitating workshops on the subject of the transformational nature of sound.
ABOUT JAYSON
Jayson has run numerous workshops in the UK, USA and Europe. He has appeared on BBC TV, BBC Radio and other UK national and regional stations.
Jayson has released 3 solo albums; “Brand New World”, “On Earth”, “and “Spaces”. His written work has appeared in magazines as well in the book “In the Name of the Gods” by David Elkington.
In 2024 Jayson completed a tour of sacred sound events at Stone Circles in the UK. He is soon to release a full length meditation version of his track “Return of the Humans”.
Jayson also has a background as a drummer and percussionist, and has played with Grammy and Emmy Award-winning artists.
