- **Event Description**: Whenever possible, we like to gather on the top of the Dexter Drumlin because it is a perfect natural spot for viewing the rising full moon.  And to help it rise, we'll encourage it with our drumming, and maybe a few wolf howls thrown in for good measure.
The moon will be rising early in October so if we're on the top of the drumlin by 5pm, we'll see the moon come over the trees shortly after that.
This is a FREE event.  Show up when you can, leave when you must.  Park along the stone wall and the trail head is near the kiosk in the middle of the wall.  It's a 10 minute walk up to the top.  Bring your own drums along with a folding chair, flashlight and maybe some bug dope (it's wise to spray your feet/legs to discourage ticks).
You can bring spinny LED things but nothing with open flames.
