- **Event Description**: The E2M Heritage Festival is a National Lottery Heritage Fund project that aims to bring young people closer to their local heritage through a collection of creative activities inspired by stories, people and places of where they are from.

Professional artists will design sessions across a variety of artistic mediums that help to tell stories of local heritage. Each artist will receive consultation on an area of local heritage from an expert sourced by Lancaster City Museums. The artists will also receive training from the Lancaster Black History group on the significance of black history in relation to Lancaster’s heritage.

Through different creative workshops including drama, sculpture-making, creative writing, music, crafts and more, 11-18 year olds will get the opportunity to learn new skills and learn about heritage stories for FREE over the Summer Holidays in 2026.
