- **Event Start and End Date**: Wed, 26 Nov, 2025 at 07:00 pm – Wed, 26 Nov, 2025 at 09:30 pm
- **Event Description**: GOSPEL SINGING AT LANCASTER PRIORY ?

Come and experience the joy of Gospel Music in partnership with Lancaster Priory in November.

Our September event at the Priory was such a joyful success and we know there are many more people who are yet to experience singing Gospel.

So, whether you are an experienced singer, a hobbyist, or have been told you can't sing at all, this is for you. All you have to do is be open to learning and following the direction of international Choir Leader and Vocal Coach Tim Uffindell.

By learning a song in three parts, you will sharpen various vocal techniques that will help shape and craft the sound, build your confidence and make a real ‘Gospel Noise’. We hope that you surprise yourself with what you are capable of.

You will also learn the meaning of the song you are singing and become familiar with how to connect to the lyrics and whatever they invoke in you. This event's lead song is particularly powerful, especially leading into the festive season.

By the end of the workshop, the whole group will be able to hold their harmony and sing the song all the way through with confidence, joy and movement.

Participation is low-pressure, which means you join in with what makes you feel comfortable. However, with Tim's expertise, enthusiasm and dynamic approach, you will likely be swept up in the joy of it all and maybe even find yourself wanting to dance too.

The workshop itself lasts 2.5 hours with some time for a break.

Reasons for singing:
- It builds confidence
- It releases dopamine and oxytocin, making you happy
- It reduces cortisol
- It's great for social connection and making friends
- Do something a little different and sing with a big group

Perfect for choirs, singers, hobbyists and non-singers.

We guarantee you'll leave feeling lifted and inspired.

See you there.
