Join us for a calm, supportive day focused on building connection, confidence, and understanding between horse and rider.

Led by Jenny Stringer of Calm Confidence Rider, alongside Michelle Stokes of Coaching2Grow and Sarah Yeates of Birkby Veterinary Physiotherapy & Horsemanship, this day brings together a a wealth of experience and knowledge — covering rider mindset, horse behaviour, and practical, horse-centred training in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Set at the Thoroughbred Retraining Centre — a charity dedicated to the welfare, rehabilitation, retraining and rehoming of retired racehorses — this day aligns closely with the values of thoughtful, compassionate horsemanship.

✨ What to expect:

A calm, supportive small group environment
Groundwork and ridden options (work at your own pace)
A focus on awareness, balance, and communication
Time to pause, reflect, and really understand your horse

With both indoor and outdoor arenas available, the day will run comfortably whatever the weather. There is also an indoor space to sit, relax, and chat throughout the day.

This is not about getting it perfect — it’s about learning, feeling, and building something better with your horse.
