Blue Lass
Authentic and heartfelt playing weave together with a love of American bluegrass, old-time and folk music to form the unique sound of Blue Lass. Their debut EP, Skylines & Coalmines, was released in September 2024.
A combination of original, traditional and contemporary material creates striking sets, with both songs and instrumental pieces transporting listeners with genuine and encapsulating stories. The all-female lineup features acoustic guitar, mandolin, and clawhammer banjo.
Blue Lass’ music boasts innovative arrangements, reflecting their appreciation of modern american folk music whilst still in keeping with the roots of the genre, with virtuosic improvised solos confidently embellishing pieces throughout.

The UK's answer to Sierra Ferrell, Susannah is a well-loved Lancaster-based country singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
Her work as a solo artist is a powerful combination of impressive vocals, thoughtful lyricism and acoustic guitar, taking inspiration from the likes of Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Loretta Lynn and Townes van Zandt as well as contemporary artists such as Willie Watson, Sierra Ferrell and Gillian Welch to produce a timeless sound that takes in country, blues, soul, folk and western swing.
