Alzheimer’s Information Series to be Offered

In partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association North Central Texas Chapter, County Extension Agent, Karen DeZarn will be teaching a 3-part program series. The series will be offered at the County Annex Conference room, 409 S. Pecan Street at 10 am on 3 Thursdays. Please call to register for this series. 512-556-8271, Ext. 140. The cost is $10 for the series.

Part 1 – 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s Disease - February 26 - Participants will learn to identify early warning signs, understand the importance of early detection, and identify resources for support.
Part 2 – Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia – March 5 - You will learn about the progression of Alzheimer's disease through its various stages and get up-to-date information on the treatments.
Part 3 – Healthy Living for Brain and Body – March 12 - The session will cover how to keep your brain active and engaged through various activities.
