The Strength of Song and Dance: music and rhythmic movements traditional to the Lenape and Nanticoke

“The Strength of Song and Dance” will feature evocative music and rhythmic movements traditional to the Lenape and Nanticoke tribes, and modern to all indigenous people. The Ellis-Gould family of the Nanticoke LenniLenape tribe, and Lenapehoking Reestablishment Project, will be exhibiting some of these dance
styles, educating the public on a variety of art forms, and speaking on how some untold histories of Indigenous people have directly impacted how Lenape people live today.
