Or maybe it's time for some fun new ideas for your toolbox? Join Phoenix with some fun ways to hear and breakdown the rhythms. Phoenix will start with a quick review of the 4/4 and 8/4 rhythms we know so well to get the sounds and verbiage. The focus for the workshop will include different rhythms such as 9/8 and 10/8. Phoenix will approach the rhythms from a traditional perspective but add in fun fusion ideas. While we are not working on zills in this workshop, this fun approach to rhythms will enhance your creativity and understanding of varying your zill work. Let's get that Dom Tek but also some fun funky odd in our step. This workshop is great for all levels and all styles.Bio:Dynamic and dramatic, Phoenix is an acclaimed belly dance artist with a stage presence that is as unique as it is diverse.
