What the heck is a puppet slam?
A night of curated short form puppet and object theatre.
You might see a comedic hand puppet piece, a dramatic and moving marionette, a haunting shadow performance, a life size Pegasus, you never know! This event is not made for kids, but children are welcome to attend! If you have specific questions on content reach out to Katy.
There are puppet slams all over the country and are a fantastic place to showcase new and emerging puppetry works.
And after the slam don’t miss the Puppet Lab Grab a drink, schmooze with the artist, and check out the puppets!
We are so thrilled to be collaborating with the immersive art and event space, Prismajic! This is a one of a kind venue. Think woodsy, artsy, escape room, meow wolf vibes! This venue has a fantastic bar and kitchen, and the best part... it's a speakeasy! Scroll down for the speakeasy instructions.
Prismajic is also home to the immersive art exhibit, Shiki Dreams. I highly recommend checking this out! You can purchase tickets to Shiki Dreams for a 5:45/6pm entry on 12/20 and then be ready for the show at 7:30pm. (Only $15!)Please mark your calendars if you want to attend and scroll down to submit to be in the slam!

Speakeasy Instructions: "Park in the Burlington lot and walk to the right of Burlington to the exterior mall entrance. Don't go in the mall. Look for the red awning on the west side above unmarked white double doors. Find the gold buzzer and you will be let in. Tell them you are here for the puppets!"
